Privacy notice

This notice covers the personal data we collect through the enquiry form on this website. It is deliberately short, because we collect very little and do very little with it.

1. Who we are

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the data described below. You are the Data Principal.

2. What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form, plus a small amount of technical information the request itself carries.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, broker credentials, account numbers, holdings, portfolio values or capital figures — not through this form and not by email at any stage of an engagement.

3. Why we may process it, and on what basis

We process this data on the basis of the consent you give by ticking the acknowledgement box and submitting the form. Consent is given for one purpose only: responding to your enquiry and assessing whether we can help. We do not use it for anything else.

• We do not send newsletters or marketing.
• We do not profile you or make automated decisions about you.
• We do not sell, rent or trade your data. Ever, to anyone.
• We do not use advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

4. Who else sees it

Nobody, other than the two service providers that make the website and the email work:

Transfer outside India. The notification email is delivered through Mailgun's United States infrastructure, so the contents of your enquiry pass through servers outside India. The stored record remains in India. The Central Government has not restricted transfers to the United States under the DPDP Act. If you would prefer your enquiry not to leave India, email us directly instead of using the form and say so.

5. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: 12 months from receipt, then deleted.
• Enquiries that do lead to an engagement: retained for the duration of the engagement and for as long afterwards as tax and company law require us to keep business records.
• You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner. See below.

6. How we protect it

• The form is submitted over an encrypted connection.
• The database sits in a private network segment and is not reachable from the internet.
• Access is restricted to the individuals who need it to answer you.
• Every submission is timestamped and logged, so we can tell what happened and when.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will tell you and report it as the DPDP Rules require.

7. Your rights

You may, at any time and free of charge:

• Ask what we hold about you and what we have done with it.
• Have it corrected if it is wrong, incomplete or out of date.
• Have it erased, unless we are required by law to keep it.
• Withdraw your consent. Withdrawal is as easy as giving it — one email. We will stop processing and delete the record, though it does not undo processing already done.
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated.

8. How to ask, and how to complain

Please tell us the email address you used on the form so we can find your record. We aim to respond within 7 working days and will resolve grievances within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Cookies

This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no session tracking. The only third-party request your browser makes is to Google Fonts, described in section 4.

10. Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.

11. Changes

If we change how we handle your data we will update this notice and change the version and date at the top. Material changes affecting data we already hold will be notified by email to the address you gave us.
